Private Yoga with Myofascial Release (60 Minutes)

Do you have tension you can’t seem to release no matter what you do? A private myofascial release yoga session offers a personalized and deeply therapeutic experience designed to alleviate that held tension to improve overall mobility, well-being, and quality of life!

Fascia is the biological fabric of your body. It is the connective tissue that holds literally every organ, bone, muscle, vessel, and nerve of your body down to the cellular level. It plays a crucial role in supporting your posture and circulating nourishment, neurological messages, and life force energy. This fibrous and collagenous tissue facilitates both flexibility and strength.

It is living, breathing, dynamic tissue that adapts to your body’s movements, needs, and changes. It molds itself to support the way you habitually hold your body. It especially likes to hold unresolved trauma and emotions for you. With your best interest in mind, it adjusts itself, often creating restrictions, to support postures or emotional reactions that you often hold, like elevated shoulders as you hunch over your computer or patterns of stress, anxiety, or frustration. And because it is powerful and rich with nerve endings, this can often cause significant pressure and pain. If you’ve experienced pain from tension that you can’t seem to stretch or massage away no matter what you do, you are feeling your fascia!

Maintaining its health is key to preventing injuries, promoting mental and physical well-being, joy, and longevity. These session combines the principles, tools, and shapes of yoga with targeted techniques to release tightness in the fascia. This helps to enhance flexibility, mobility, circulation, and a positive mood.

With the guidance of an experienced instructor, you'll engage in mindful breathing and gentle stretching with the incorporation of props like foam rollers, massage balls, and self or assisted hands-on techniques to apply pressure to specific areas of the body. This customized approach ensures that your unique needs and goals are addressed, making it ideal for anyone seeking relief from chronic pain, stress, or muscular imbalance.

Customize your experience down to final resting (savasana) too! Choose traditional resting with or without supports, continued hands-on assists, resting on the infrared heated crystal grounding mat, reiki, or rest seated or lying down with red light therapy.

  • To maintain our safe space we do not accept walk-ins - DO NOT SHOW UP TO OUR STUDIOS WITHOUT SCHEDULING WITH US
